TaO cream is intended for dry, mature, damaged and sensitive skin. It is formulated on the basis of ectoin, a derivative of amino acids from the extremolyte group.

The exceptional stabilizing and protective properties of natural ectoin lead to visible and long-term results in skin care. By repairing the skin barrier, restoring and regulating the moisture content in the skin, ectoin reduces trans epidermal water loss, increases and preserves skin moisture for 7 days without re-application! Also, clinical studies have shown long-term improvement in skin condition, such as increased elasticity, reduced wrinkle volume, and improved skin structure. Natural ectoin enhances and restores the functions of cells that are responsible for the health and beauty of the skin.

Ectoin is a natural ingredient obtained from extremophiles. Extremophiles are microorganisms that survive in adverse, extreme conditions of their habitats, such as salt lakes, springs, Arctic ice, deep sea or deserts, where almost impossible living conditions prevail (extremely high or low temperature, high salt concentration, UV radiation). It is amazing that, despite these inhospitable conditions, life has endured for millions of years. Highly adapted bacteria, so-called extremophilic microorganisms, defy dryness, high salinity and extreme temperature changes, and grow and thrive thanks to a substance called natural ectoin. Ectoin protects these small living beings from the harmful effects of the environment of their habitats, binds water molecules from their environment and creates the so-called “Ectoin Hydro Complex.” This complex surrounds cells, enzymes, proteins and other biomolecules forming protective, nourishing and stabilizing hydration shells around them.
