HYALURONIC ACID – WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Hyaluronic acid or hyaluronic is increasingly sought after as the main agent in anti-age skin care. Before you go to a cosmetic surgeon, try hyaluronic-containing skin care products.

The skin is the largest organ of the human body consisting of three basic layers:
EPIDERMIS
DERMIS
SUBCUTIS
Most cosmetic products only work on the epidermis, the top layer of the skin and cannot act in depth on the structural aging processes that take place in the dermis.
Collagen and elastin, produced by fibroblasts (cells in the dermis) are the main structural elements that form a deeper layer of the dermis. They facilitate youthfulness through firmness and elasticity. As we age, they break down, and as a result of fragmentation of collagen, its properties are lost.
Therefore, the main task in the process of slowing down aging is to stimulate fibroblasts that need to be encouraged to create collagen. Also, for the development of collagen, in addition to stimulation of fibroblasts it is necessary to make a base in which collagen fibers will develop. It is precisely in filling the space around collagen that hyaluronic acid plays a key role.
In addition to preserving and maintaining tissue hydration, since it can retain 1000 times the volume of water than its size, it fills the superficial layers of our skin, allowing the skin to fill up. The main mechanism of skin aging is the breakdown of hyaluronic acid, and it breaks down the enzyme hyaluronidase that we have in the skin, and the free oxygen radicals that result from skin damage caused by external factors (also called oxidative stress).
When applying hyaluronic acid, it is also necessary to pay attention to the molecular size of hyaluronic acid featured in the product.
Namely, there is a high molecular hyaluronic acid that can penetrate the epidermis (surface layer of the skin) and thus affect the surface layer of the skin and make it resistant to external negative factors. Low molecular hyaluronic acid, due to its smaller molecules, has the ability to penetrate deeper into the skin and thus have a more powerful anti-age effect. The best effect on the fullness and volume of the skin is the use of a combination of high molecular and low molecular hyaluronic acid.
In addition to the molecular size of hyaluronic acid, the impact of the product also depends on other active ingredients with which hyaluronic acid is combined in the product.

Our AgeLess cream, besides peptides, also contains hyaluronic acid of different molecular sizes, while Vitamin C serum combines 12% vitamin C (two types – Ascorbyl glucoside and Sodium ascorbyl phosphate), vitamin E, hyaluronic acid and 0.5% ferulic acid, thereby successfully restoring, moisturizing and rejuvenating the skin.
